1. Who we are
ComplyRadar ("we", "us") is a software service operated by its founder, based in Bangladesh, reachable at hello@complyradar.net. These Terms govern your use of complyradar.net and any ComplyRadar subscription. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
2. What ComplyRadar does
ComplyRadar monitors selected business regulations (currently e-invoicing and related mandates in supported countries) and provides plain-language summaries, deadlines, action checklists, and change alerts, personalized to the business profile you provide. Free features include the readiness quiz, the public rules browser, and the personalized plan page. Paid subscriptions add ongoing monitoring, alerts, and the other features described on our pricing page.
3. Not legal or tax advice
ComplyRadar provides general regulatory information for convenience. It is not legal, tax, or professional advice, and no attorney-client or advisor relationship is created. Regulations change and interpretations vary by situation. Always confirm obligations against the official sources we link and, where decisions have legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified professional. You remain solely responsible for your business's compliance.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and the Merchant of Record
Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions (monthly, in USD, at the prices shown at checkout or on your invoice). Order processing and billing are handled by our authorized third-party payment provider — acting as reseller and Merchant of Record where applicable — whose name appears on your invoice and card statement and whose terms also apply to the purchase transaction. Applicable taxes (e.g., VAT) are calculated and collected where required. You can cancel anytime via the customer portal or billing link in your receipt emails, or by emailing us; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy, including a 14-day money-back guarantee on first purchases.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate profile information — our matching depends on it.
- Use the service for your own business (or, on the Accountant plan, for your clients within the stated limits).
- Do not resell, scrape, or redistribute our content or database, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual property
The ComplyRadar name, site, database structure, and written summaries are our property. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your internal business purposes. Official regulations themselves remain public information; our summaries and curation are what's licensed.
7. Service changes and availability
We aim for accurate, timely monitoring but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every regulatory change will be captured instantly. We may improve, modify, or discontinue features; if we materially reduce what your plan includes, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplyRadar's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including fines, penalties, lost profits, or losses arising from actions taken or not taken based on the information provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with a refund of any unused paid period unless the breach is serious (e.g., abuse, unlawful use, or content redistribution).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Before any formal dispute, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by email. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights you hold in your country of residence, nor the role of the Merchant of Record in payment disputes.
